Port Macquarie is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the mid north coast of NSW. It is only 260 km north of Newcastle, 430km from Sydney and 510km from Brisbane. The climate is noted for being one of the best in Australia with average temperatures ranging from 20c - 32c in summer, and from 8c - 21c in winter.
